U.S. Visa for Students

January 16, 2018katsmanImmigrationNo Comments

The United States is considered one of the best places to visit for furthering your education. International universities rankings show that the U.S has more than 300 out of the top 500 universities of the world. Hence, a U.S. degree is considered top quality and recognized across the globe. This is because the U.S. universities provide a great standard of education, whether it is in taught or research programs.

Nearly 500,000 study visas were issued by the U.S. last year. There are more than 1.2 million foreign students enrolled at various educational institutes across the country.

If you are still in school or have someone in your family who can benefit from it, you should consider a U.S. education over a local one. There are many reasons for doing so.

For a start, a U.S. degree will boost your chances of getting hired. When you are applying for a job, a foreign degree, especially from the U.S. gives you a major advantage over other job applicants. This is true, regardless of wherever you are in the world. Everyone recognizes the superiority of a U.S. degree compared to a local degree.

Second, you will get a chance to study with a diverse group of students from all around the world. This will help you understand many different cultures. You will make friends and connections from all around the world who can help you in your life in many ways.

Third, going abroad for studies on your own will completely transform your personality. The experiences you gain from living on your own will give you a lot of confidence. It will make you an independent minded person and boost your self-esteem.

Fourth, after successfully completing their studies, a lot of students get an opportunity to apply for a job abroad, sometimes in the U.S. and sometimes in a different country. A foreign degree opens-up doors and opportunities for you that will not be possible with a local education.

Finally, a U.S. education may not even be all that expensive compared to getting a local degree. Many educational institutes in the U.S offer scholarships, discounts and paid-research opportunities which make a U.S. degree as affordable as a local degree.

A U.S. education offers a bright future for the young people. However, many students and their parents are either unaware of the opportunities or unsure about the chances of getting a Study Visa because of all the negative news in the media surrounding U.S. immigration policies.

Getting a U.S. study visa is actually not that difficult and can even save you money if you use a qualified immigration consultant.
